Denson, seconded by Commissioner Lackey, the Court unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-0, to extend the burning ban for Kerr County. Item 2.1~ Consider and discuss repairs to Courthouse entrance. (Pillars etc.) (Commissioner Pct. #1/Commissioner Pct. #3) This item was discus's and there is no report at this time from the engineer. The Court recess on this item at this time till later in the week. Item 2.11 Consider and discuss placing historical marker on Courtho~_~se lawn commemorating James Kerr for• whom Ker-r• Co~_inty was named. (Clar^a belle Snodgrass/Wanda Henderson) This item was discuss and information given on securing a marker^ for commemorating James Kerr. The Historical -- Committee will pay for^ the marker which will take about six to nine months to receive.
