On this the 9th day of September 1996, ~_~pon motion made by
Commissioner Holekamp, seconded by Judge Robert A. Denson, the
Court unanimously approved by a vote of 5-0-0, the service
contract for Dr~_ig Offender Ed~.ication Program and authorize the
County Judge to sign same.

THE STATE OF TEXRS
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
THE COUNTY OF KERR
The Texas Code of Criminal Procedure requires that drug
offender^s complete a Dr^ug Offender- Ed~.~cational Program as a
condition precedent to reinstatement of the drug offenders
driver^'s license. Kerr County ("County") is required to offer
s~_ich a program. CSCD has certain monies in its b~_~dget which
_, ar^e set aside to finance a Dr^ug Offender- Ed~_~cation Program.
County desires to offer said Drug Offender Education Program.
County and the CSCD agree as follows:
1. County will staff, train, keep trained and operate
the Drug Offender Education Program in Kerr County, Texas; and
2. Instructor^s will be employed by County to offer
said program; and
3. CSCD will reimburse County for the entire expenses
of the program on a monthly basis; provided, however, the CSCD
shall not be liable to pay more than fi1,010 per physical
year; and
4. This contract and the Dr•~_~g Offender Education
Program was effective initially September 1, 1995, for the
period of time through Rugust 31, 1995, and was renewed by the
parties effective September 1, 1996, for a period through
R~.igust 31, 1997; and
5. This contract may be canceled at any time by either
party giving thirty (3Q~) days advance written notice given to
the other party.
