Re; Wrtt Road
I was asked to estimate the cost of reconstructing the roads that would make up the proposed
Road District of Spring Creek Ranch.
' I did so and found the following:
1) The total road mileage I considered was 2.85 miles.
2) It would take approximately 5 to 6 weeks of construction working with a contractor by
the hour. At a cost of $90,000 for the reconstruction of the roadway.
.-. 3} The landowners would need to furnish the material.
4) This would not indude the cost of moving fences out of the right-of--way.
5) This would not indude the cost of surveying.
6) To seal coat would be another $20,000.
Should the Court determine it is in the best interest of the citizens to set up a Road District, it
would need to be considered in the 1998/1999 budget process.
