RS KERB CDUNTY FAIR WEEK
On this the 22nd day of September, 1997 upon motion made by
Judge Denson, seconded by Commissioner Oehler, the Court
unanimously approved 6y a vote of 5-@-@, Proclamation
declaring Dctober 6th through October 12th, 1997 as Kerr
County Fair Week and autharixe County Judge to sign same.

WHERERS, Kerr County .recognizes the Kerr County Fair
Association as a vital and productive association of our
County, and
WHERERS, the Kerr County Fair Association was organized in
1978 and continues through today,
WHERERS, the Kerr County Fair Association sponsors a Fair
Pageant, offering scholarships to four young ladiesq and
WHERERS, the Kerr County Fair Association sponsors the County
Fair with exhibits of crafts, canned goods, baked goods and
livestock by local residents with a strong emphasis on Kerr
County youth;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT KNOWN:
Kerr County proclaims the week of October 6th through
October 12th, 1997 to 6e

eventr will take place the second
weekend in October, with the
parade set for Saturday, October
11. This year will be eventful and
The KCFA rules are accompanied with this letter. Also included on the
entry form is a release, waiver of liability and covenant not to sue. Please read
them carefully and sign the Release form and then indicate your participation by
returning the entry with all the requested information. DEAD LINE FOR
ENTRIES LS SEPTEMBER 11.
All parade participants will receive further information as to route, map
your position in the parade, etc., by September 30.. Parade Line-up will start at
11:00, and step-off will be at 1:00. Judging will take place during the parade,
awards will be given to outstanding entries in all categories. The awards for the
parade will be given during the Miss Kerr County Pageant Parade participantr
will be given complimentary gate passes to the Fair Grounds. Please note on
your entry from the number of passes required. (Please, parade participantr
ONLY)
We would like to thank you for your participation in the past and for
your help in making our parade a success. If this is your first year to be with us,
we say "WELCOME". We hope everyone has a very memorable time.
