This letter is to give some background information to the new commissioners regarding the Courthouse lighting. The Women's Division of the Kerrville Area Chamber of Commerce has been decorating and lighting the courthouse lawn and trees since the 1970's. Last year we appeared before the Commissioners' Court on October 15, 1996, on t.genda Item 2.10, regarding lighting of the Courthouse. Our plans are underway for lighting the courthouse and the square again and ask your permission to proceed with this community project. With your continued help and support the we hope that this annual event will become a special attraction for all. Sincerely, WOMEN'S DIVISION OF KERRVILLE AREA CHAMBER Jennie Motheral, President
