TOTAL P.02 woi~x~s nilvrs>yle Area C.O.C.,Inc. Subject: 1997 Fourth of July Celebration Request for Storage Space for Ticket Booths Each year, Kenville's 4th of July Celebraflon has continued to grow in attendance. 1997's event is expected to bring in even more spectators to enjoy the unique combination of family entertainment as well as top entertaine-s and a bigger and better firework display. Enclosed is a Schedule of Events for your perusal. The Women's Division's goal has always been and is to make this event a "community" affair, not only with the vohmteers from the community, but to include all aspects of the City and County govenunenk (Traffic control, safety, and security being top on the list.) The I~71 Country Home Builders Association has graciously agreed to build six collapsible ticket booths for the event (similar to those used at the Texas Arts & Crafts Fair). Knowing that the booths will be well built and attractive, the Women's Division is seeking a place to store the booths when not in use. We would like to request of the Commissioners' Court the use of a maximum of two horse stalls at the Youth Exhibition Center to store the booths until which time we fmd a suitable storage facility. We would certainly consider this gesture as a sponsorship by Kerr County. Your consideration regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated Arlie Dixoa ~~ Chairperson of the 4th of July Celebration 1997 "CITE UP THE SKY" 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION LOUISE HAYS PARK The event grounds are East of the bridge.
