Dear Ma. Scovill:
Letter of Credit No. 45322 in the amount of $31,571,42 urea placed
with Kerr County for the purpose of guaranteeing conatructian of
a roadway cn the Thompson Drive extension from the existing end•--
af Thasnpsan Drive to the entrance of Saddlewood subdivf$ion. The-_
ra~-dway waa built on county owned right-of-way and ie a county
roadway. That roadway is now finished and Mr. Franklin Johnston
has been aantacted to make a final in9pection.
The original contract for acquisition of land executed between
the partie~c states that upon completion of the roadway and
acceptance by the county, that the roadway will be placed on the
county's list of county maintained roads.
Accordingly, please cons~icier this letter to be a request that the
fallowing items be placed on the Commissioners Court Agenda for
Monday, May 12, 1997.
1. That the county approve and accept the Thompson Dri~re
extension crnstructed from the end of the present Thompson
Drive to the entrance of Saddl$w~od SstatQS.
2. That the county glace this roadway on its list of
county maintained roads.
3. That Letter of Credit No. 45322 be released.
