Pursuant to the March 24, 1997 Commissioners' Court meeting, the Court decided
to create a Ken County Subdivision Rules and Regulations Committee. Based on a
discussion at that meeting, the following positions would be on the committee:
Road & Bridge Administrator
County Engineer
County Attorney
Local Attorney
Local Engineer
Local Developer
Local Developer
Real Estate Broker
UGRA Representative
City of Kerrville (Director of Planning)
County Commissioner
County Commissioner
Leonard Odem
Franklin Johnston
David Motley
Jim Brown
Larry Vetter ex-officio
The committee should be charged with the following task:
Review the current Kerr County Subdivision Rules and Regulations and as a body
recommend any changes in writing to the court.
a) The Committee should elect a chairperson.
b) The Committee should submit it's report to the Commissioners' Court
within 6 months (October 13, 1997)
c) The Committee should develop a method to get citizen input in the
process.
d) All meetings of the Committee will be posted meetings pursuant to the
Texas Open Meetings Act.
Some names to consider for the above positions are:
