INCLUDED IN REGIONAL WATER F~LANNING AREA "J"
On this day the 1st day of December^, 1997 ~_~pan motion made by
Commissioner^ Lets, seconded by Commissioner^ Baldwin, the Cour^t
unanimously approved by a vote of 4-~-0, the Resolution that
t{er^r^ Co~_inty be incl~_ided in Regional Water^ F~lanning Ar^ea "J"
with the following counties: Val Uer^de; f'.inney; Edwar^ds;
Real; tier^r^; Kendall and Bander^a and author^i~e signing off on
same.
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The Texas Water Development Board has requested comments regarding the
"Second Draft" -Regional Water Planning Areas;
WHEREAS, The Kerr County Commissioners' Court has reviewed the criteria set forth by the
Texas Water Development Board regarding placement of counties in Regional
Water Planning Areas;
WHEREAS, The Kerr County Commissioners' Court does not recommend the adoption of the
"Alternate Second Draft" -Regional Water Planning Areas because the areas
designated and this plan are too large and varied to create an effective Regional
Water Plan; and
WHEREAS, On behalf of the citizens of Kerr County, the Ken County Commissioners' Court
strenuously and respectfully requests that Kerr County be included in the Regional
Water Planning Area "T' with the following counties: Val Verde; Kinney; Edwards;
Real; Kerr; Kendall and Bandera.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
That Kerr County be included in Regional Water Planning Area "T' with the
following counties: Val Verde; Kinney; Edwards; Real; Kerr; Kendall and Bandera.
