Dear Mr. Johnston.
Please consider this letter my official petition requesting permission to have a cattle
guard constructed across Upper Turtle Creek Road (FM 1273). 1 realize that this would
be at my expense.
I own a little over half of a ranch located on both sides of Upper Turtle Creek Road,
located about seven miles off Hwy.16. This part of the road is maintained by the
county. My neighbor, Joe Adams, does not want my cows on his property anymore.
We are fencing as soon as possible. I am aware that the fence must be thirty feet from
the center of the road, if there are any other requirements, please advise.
I hive inclosed a diagram to explain my situation. Please dive this matter your earliest
possible attention.
