SUBJECT: SICK LEAVE POOL
The County Commissioners' Court is considering establishing a Sick
Leave Pool Program pursuant to Section 157.071 of the Local Government
Code. The Court feels County employees should have significant input in
developing a written plan for this purpose.
Please let me hear your suggestions as to who should serve on the plan
development committee. Maybe a 6-8 member mix of employees and elected
officials.
Your comments and suggestions regarding this subject matter will be
appreciated. The Court will consider same during our September 22nd, 1997
meeting.
