No action was taken at this time regarding the 4-H Coordinator. Below are the r^ecommendation and opinions of Richar^d Skiable, lYtanager of Lfl55 Control Services, TAC. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (County Judge & ComRissioners) The title indicates an exempt status, however. due to reporting to the Court and not a single per^son this position should be non-exempt. Job title should probable be Administrative Secr^etary. CHIEF DEPUTY COUNTY CLERK The duties include assisting in the management and administration of the county clerk's, however, over ~0:~ of the d•_-ties ar^e routine office duties. Therefore, this position should be non-exempt. ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY/COURT COORDINATOR (County Court at Law> This .jab description consists of routine office duties. Duties coincide with the ,job title of Administrative Secretary versus Administrative Assistant. Ther^efore, this position should be non-exempt. CHIEF DEPUTY DISTRACT CLERK Duties incle.-de assisting the District Cler^k in supervising personnel, however, mor^e that 5+Z~7G of the other duties are ro~_-tine office duties. Therefore, this position should be non-exempt. CHIEF DEPUTY TAX ASSESSOR-COLLECTOR This is a supervisory position, however, more than 5Q~X of the dutle5 ar^e spent on r^outine office d~.-ties. CHIEF DEPUTY COUNTY TREASURER D~_ities include supervising all daily activities related to collection and dzsbur^sement of public funds and maintains all personnel files of county payroll. These are routine office duties, therefore, this position should be classified as non-exempt. 4-H COORDINATOR This is a non-supervisory position. Duties include assisting the home demonstr^ation agent in developing a county plan of work and working with residents of all ages to provide a successful ongoing county and 4-H and youth program. Does not supervise any employees and reports to the county agents. Due to this non-super^visory position and the routine duties this position should be classified as non-exempt. ADMIhIISTRATIVE SECRETARY This position is currently classified as a non-exempt position with a pay group 14/i. In reviewing the .job description and comparing it to the descriptions in the Dictionary of Occupation Titles published by the Department of Labor this position 5holild be classified as exempt and the .jab title should be Administrative Assistant.
