At the budget hearing, Judge Brown and Russ Duncan presented a budget
request for the operations of the Warrant Coordinator's office in the amount of
$5,000.00. ARer the presentation, it was our impression that the funding request was
approved. As of this date the funds have not been transferred into our account.
Our presentation today is to re-request the funding.
At present all funding for the operation (telephone, stamps, office supplies, etc.) are
coming out of Judge Brown's County Court at Law Account. Although there has not
been a great deal of expense, to this point, there has been enough to alert us to the need
to correct the oversight.
To restate our request: for the 1997/1998 budget year, we requested $5,000.00 in
operations funding.
