Dear Paul:
This letter is to confirm our conversation of January 13, 1997 regazding progress to date
of the Texas Agricultural Extension Building. Due to the freezing weather and rain, we
accomplished very little the week of January 6th. On January 11th we hit an underground
water line under the proposed building site.
We suggested that this week be used to investigate and determine a course of action for
the water line. And since the stock show starts Wednesday, January 15th, and since more
freezing rain is predicted for Monday and Tuesday, we propose to start work on Monday,
January 20th.
We respectfully request that the contract start date be revised to January 20, 1997 to
account for the conditions above.
