To: Judge Denson From: James Feagan, Buildings Maintenance Supervisor Date: February 3, 1997 Re: Condition of Fire Alarm Systems in the Courthouse The offices of the County Clerk, Tax Accessor, Treasurer, County Court at Law and the old Jail have what should be a functioning fire alarm system in place. The system consists of manual stations and smoke detectors. Simplex installed the system and reports that they have not been here to test the system since March of 1995. This alarm is monitored at the Kerrville Police Department. The old temporary facility, now the County Auditor and County Attorney offices, do not have any fire alarm equipment installed in them. The old Courthouse has manual stations and smoke detectors which are now maintained by the Kerrville Telephone Company, Security Alarm Division. The original fire system was installed by another Company, but was taken over and added on to by the Telephone Company. This alarm is monitored at the Kerrville Police Department. ~~P~ z1t~~~ 7 ~~N~~- C©/~`a(~~ t2 -a ~(~C~s S ST/f-7CJS J2~l~a2T a~J ~"~R~= ~~~~rn S~~«-~~ l N Covar~ d~s~ Item 2.11 Consider and Discuss status report on Fire Alarm Systems in Courthouse (County Judge) No Action February 10, 1997 Vol. V pg 52
