LCRA Representative) LCRR Representative made a presentation to the Court of the new National Oceanic and Atmosphere Administration Weather Radio Service for the Hill Country is up and running. The Weather Rodin Service is on 24 hours to forecast the weather for Kerr County. The warning on the radio will tell you when^e the storm is in Kerr County. The radio can be purchased at Wal-Mart or Radio Shack stores. Its needs to be a 7 frequency weather radio. (County Judge) This item was discussed by the Court with the Texas Association of Counties representative, Sarah Wirt, and the Court decided to go out for bids on the Property and General Liability Insurance for the county. The Judge stated that TAC ,~ has done an outstanding .job for the county. The county had no problems witfi TAC, it is .just healthy to test the market.
