I represent the Pierce Mangurian Trust. The Trust currently
owns a 287.01 acre tract and a 394.72 acre tract off of FM Road 479
in Kerr County. A copy of a plat of that property is enclosed.
Situated on the 287.01 acre tract is a county road known as the
Walker-Benner Road (marked in green). Originally, this road
crossed the Walker Tract (the 287.01 acre tract) and provided
access to the Benner Tract (the 394.72 acre tract).
Now that both tracts are under common ownership there is no
need for a county road on the property. The Pierce Mangurian
Trust, being the only property owner served by this road, now
requests that the road be closed, abandoned, and vacated.
Accordingly, the purpose of this letter is to request that you
put this request to close, abandon, and vacate Walker-Benner Road
on your agenda for the Commissioners Meeting scheduled for May 26,
1998.
