It is the 31st of July, last day of the month. It's about 5 after 10:00. We have a special Commissioners' Court meeting that was duly posted earlier in the week, I think probably Monday, concerning the Justice of the Peace, and then we have an emergency item that I pasted a couple days ago also that we need to talk about, Maintenance Department personnel. But the first matter dealing with Justice of the Peace, we have an open meeting that will follow an Executive Session meeting, where we're going to be talking about pending and possible litigation. So at this time, about 5 after 10:00 -- 6 after 10:00, I'm going to close our open meeting and go into Executive Session. And, Mary Elizabeth, what we'll do is simply go into Executive Session, talk about pending and possible litigation, and then we'll also follow that discussion by talking about Maintenance Department personnel and complaints therein. MS. DAVIS: So you're going to do both things in Executive Session and lust come out? JUDGE DENSON: Yeah, but I'm going to guess we'll [^~ L~ probably be in closed session for 30, 95 minutes. 1 MS. DAVIS: Okay, that'll be cool. We've just come out of our 8 Executive Session. It's 11 o'clock, the 31st day of July, 9 1998. And before I make a motion, I want to tell the members 10 of the press that Commissioner Baldwin and Commissioner 11 Oehler want to talk to ya'all after this meeting.
