HILL COUNTRY YOUTH EXHIBITION CENTER AND RECEIVE
COMPENSRTION OF $575.00 PER MONTH WITH AN ADDITIONRL

TOM POLLARD TO DRAW UR FORMAL CONTRACT
On this day the 4th day of August, 199$ upon motion made by
Commissioner- Letz, seconded by Commissioner- Baldwin, the Cour-t
unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-0, to Contract Facility
Coordinator for Hill Country Youth Exhibition Center and
receive compensation of $575.00 per month with an additional
$104~,O~d per month for^ phone expense and authorize Tom F'ollar•d
to draw up formal contract.
Facility Coordinator agrees to handle the duties of event coordinator for the Frill
Country Youth Exhibition Cemer, Kerr County, Texas (HCYEC), for the period
beginning October 1, 1998 and ending September 30, 1999. The duties of Contractor
shall be as follows:
Develop and provide to Kerr County Commissioners' Court for approval, a
written fee schedule and written policies and procedures. This is due for
submission no later than October 31, 1998,
Promote and show HCYEC facility to prospective lessees.
Serve as booking agent for HCYEC facility which duties shall include but not be
limited to the following:
Maintain calendar of events for the HCYEC; and
Provide lessees with comract and collect associated fees.
Coordinate set up of all everts including but not limited to the following hems:
Handle event layout including but not limited to stall, chair and table
rentals;
FIandle and verify insurance requirements; and
Handle and verify liquor license requirements.
Provide a calendar of evems to the Kerr County Commissioners Court and
Maintenance Department on the 1°` ax~~'of each month.
Coordinate with the Kerr County Maintenance Department for the set up and over
all evem coordination for all events.
Advise the Ken County Commissioners Court and Maintenance Department of
facility needs at the HCYEC and assist with prospective grants and donations to
help upgrade the facilities at the HCYEC.
Facility Coordinator shall receive a compensation of Five Hundred Seventy-Five
Dollars ($575.00) per calendar morrth for the contract period less federal deductions and
retirement benefits (communication and automobile expenses are included in this
compensation). The above compensation shall be divided equality and paid on the
fifteenth and on the last day of the momlr.
