First, I talked to Patricia Dye's Deputy, Ruby Nicholson. She is a county clerlr is the Land and Zoning Department. She was nat able to help me, but was able to point me to the Kerr Central Appraisa' District. There T talked to Elaine Chaney for 1!2 hour, bui was not able to find out the easement on the road She was able to tell me who she thought managed the orchard, Tim Goode. I celled Mt. Goods, but he trtanaged a different orchard. He was able io tell me who managed Split Rock Orchard's, J. Colvin. I called Mr. Colvin and he said it was alright with him if I built the bus stop on the corner as long as it was one foot from the fence. He suggested I go to the County Road and Bridge Department to find out the easement. There I talked to Trudy Hardin. She gave me a map and informed me the easement on Split Rock Road isforty-five feet and nothing could be built on it. I went to the intersection with Mr. T.H. "Butch" Lackey, County Commissioner, Precinm 2, to measure t'te road and see if there was a spot to put the bus stop. We found a spot suitable to everyone's restrictions and all I have to do is call Mr. Lackey and he will come and level and mow the area with his tractor an8 also get any clearance we needed with the state highway department.
