RE: Clarification of Roadway Below Center Point Dam
During recent rains our road crews were out putting up high water signs. They were
approached by people in Center Point who told them they needed to put out the
barricades for the road below Center Point Dam or Park Street.
When they explained that was the responsibility of the City of Center Point, they were
told the bridge and dam belonged to Kerr County.
We did put up the barricades this time, but we ask that the Commissioners Court for
clarification on whether we should continue to do so. The area in question is actually a
low water crossing below the dam, not a bridge or part of the dam.
