Gonzalez: This letter is to summarize results of our meeting with you this morning. The main decision points were as follows: R'e will request that our District Traffic Engineer conduct a study to determine if a Dashing beacon installation can be justified at the intersection of :~1 :Mooney Road and SH 27. 2. We will install standard intersection warning signs in advance of the Al Mooney Road intersection with an advisory plaque containing the text, "Mooney Plant Entrance." This should reduce the number of delivery trucks missing their turn into the plant and subsequently making U•turns on the highway. 3. As soon as our local maintenance budget permits, • hopefully in the 1999 fiscal year • we will extend the cuh•ert pipe and construct concrete safety-end•treatments at both intersections, SH 27 at Peterson Farm Road and at :U Mooney Road. This will eliminate the problem of vehicles dropping a wheel off into the ditch as they turn out of these side roads onto the highway. An Epua! OODOrtunify Employe TEXAS MATER COMMISSION Stephen F.
