Responsibilities of task force members include reviewing TNRCC permit applications for regional plan consistency, scoring and ranking implementation proposals, assisting in prepazation of the Regional Solid Waste Management Plan Update, reporting to the Legislature on grant funded activities and developing the Implementation Project Funding Plan. Committee meetings include discussion of grant funded activities, new yr proposed solid waste laws or regulations, and solid waste waste management successes or problems experienced by members. There should be at least one public sector representative from each of the subregions designated in the regional plan: subregion I- Wilson and Karnes Counties subregion II- Corral and Guadalupe Counties subregion IIIa- Gillespie and Kerr Counties subregion IIIb- Kendall and Bandera Counties subregion V- Bexar County subregion VI- Atascosa and Frio Counties • Volunteer and special interest-groups members may number no more than (9) of the membership. • Members will serve for three years. • A balance should be maintained of elected and non-elected local officials, including a representati~~e of the educational community (elementary or secondary) Regionally Yours, ;,..
