R letter- was received from the Texas Department of Justice, David McNutt, stating the Department was unable to amend the original contract to include our modifications. It was r-ecommended 6y Commissioner- Letz not to sign the contr-act and to invoice the State for out expenses. It was agreed not to sign the Contract with the Texas Department of Justice until further information could be obtained from the Sher-iff.
