COMMISSIONERS' COURT CONVENED IN WORKSHOP AC,ENDR on Monday,
,; January 26th, 1998 at 2:30 PM with the following Officers
present: Honorable Robert A. Denson, County Judge; H.A.
"Buster" Baldwin, Commissioner Pct.Rl; T.H. "Butch" Lackey,
Commissioner Pet. N2; Jonathan Let z, Commissioner Pct.ik3;
Bruce Oehler, Pet. M4 and the following proceedings were had:
WORKSHOP ASENDA
~J2(,~g~,~ 1.1 Discuss Subdivision Rules and Regulations. (Commissioner
Pct. N3)
A workshop was held concerning the revision of the Kerr County
Subdivision Rules and Regulations. Commissioner Letz
addressed the Court and public on changes made fro• the
previous Subdivision Rules and Regulations. Appendix J has
been deleted. Any subdivision with a public water system that
is installed must supply adequate water for the subdivision
including fire protection. Other sections revised or changed
were 5.07 Drainage and Section VII - Road Specifications.
William D. Pearson addressed Court on his concerns of Fire
Protection. Other citizens to address Court on their concerns
for water supply and fire protection were Fred Heneke and Bill
Odom. Mr. De1Mar Hiller addressed Court to allow ample
time before approving the Subdivision Rules and Regulations to
form a committee and speak with consultants. Author Nagel
addressed Court on his concerns and listed his changes.
Commissioner Letz stated that next week a meeting nay be held.
Various land developers are encouraged to attend to give
insight on the revision of the Subdivision Rules and
Regulations.
