(Sandra L. Pena) Sandra Pena addressed Court on above agenda item. She had met r'` with Road and Bridge Department and they recommended a three phase plan. She wanted to know from the Court the specific dollar- amount the property owners needed to come up with to be able to proceed. Mr•. Odom estimated at approximately 590,000.00 would be needed to bring roads up to county standards. Mr. Odom stated that one property owner- has 40ft. easement and it needs to be 6Oft. Mr• Odom did not want to make a recommendation at this time because the Road and Bridge Department has not actually been to Witt Road. The Court agreed that a Soft. right-of-way would be sufficient from the property owners. Judge Denson stated that the Court needs to have some idea of what sum of money the pr•oper•ty owner^s need to come up with before county will take over. Judge recommended 50/50 as a fair- deal. Mr Odom suggested that 25/27 thousand dollars would be acceptable. Commissioner^ Letz recommended to breakdown the X25,000 in the three phases. Mr. Odom is to return to Commissioners' Court with a specific dollar- amount to bring Witt Road up to county standards for the county to take over-. ~3a3y8 a S 2.5 Review of 1996-97 Rudit by Rr•essler-Thompson and Company.
