On Tuesday, May 19, 1998, at 11:00 a.m., a special
emergency session of Commissioners' Court was held in the
Commissioners' Courtroom, Kerr County Courthouse, Kerrville,
Texas, and the following proceedings were had in open court:
P R O C E E D I N G S
JUDGE DENSON: It's 5 after 11:00 on the 19th of
May, '98, and due to an emergency, an unforseeable situation
that's arisen with regard to pending litigation and the
suggestion by the Federal District Court down in Bexar County,
I've called this meeting. Also at the request of the County
Attorney and Rex Hall. And it will be a closed matter as
posted for an Executive Session. So we'll open our
Commissioners' Court based upon that posting, and then we'll
immediately close and go into Executive Session. There
doesn't appear to be any member of the public present for
questions or comments at this time, and unless one of the
Commissioners or Mr. Motley has anything, we'll close the open
meeting and go into Executive Session.
(The open session was closed at 11:06 a.m. and an
Executive Session was held, the transcript of which
is contained in a separate document.)

JUDGE DENSON: Okay. I make a motion that we make
the contribution we discussed in Executive Session to Texas
Association of Counties (TAC) to resolve all issues as
discussed in the pending litigation in E'ederal District Court.
COMMISSIONER LETZ: Second.
JUDGE DENSON: Any comments, questions, discussions?
(No response.)
JUDGE DENSON: Okay. All in favor?
(Judge Denson and Commissioner Letz raised their
hands.)
JUDGE DENSON: All opposed?
(Commissioners Baldwin, Lackey, and Oehler raised
their hands.)
(Commissioners' Court was adjourned at 11:55 a.m.)
