County Judge X Gommissiuners:
Fred Perry has requested information regarding present and past
employees of the sheriff's department. He is requesting the number
of employees who have been employeed by the Sheriff since she was
elected. I am not the custodian for the Kerr County Sheriff's
Department employee records. As Treasurer, I maintain files for all
ICerr County Employees. Therefore, the files are not maintained in
such a way that former sheriff's department employee files may be
readily segregated without a manuel review of each file. There are
approximately 3,000 ~ files.
I estimate it would take approximately eighty hours to complete this
project. Z am reguesting 5520.00 so that I may hire a part-time
person for this project. Due to other duties which I am required to
perform I cannot carry out this task without hiring someone to
come in for this purpose only.
