Consider and discuss Construction Consultant.
In November the Commissioners Court passed a court order, see
attached, committing to hire a construction consultant/manager to
assist with the pending courthouse construction renovations. The
details of who should be hired and the specifics of the job
requirements were left to the current Commissioners Court.
Construction should begin this month so a decision needs to be
made as soon as possible. I have asked our architect, Mike
Walker, to be present for this discussion and have some
recommendations..

APPROVAL TO COMMIT TO HIRING CONSTRUCTION CONSULTANT
TO OVERSEE PHASE III CONSTRUCTION (COURTHOUSE RENOVATION)
On this day the 9th day of November, 1998 upon motion made by
Commissioner Let z, seconded by Commissioner Oehler, the Court
unanimously approved by a vote of 4-~-0, to commit to hiring
a construction consultant to oversee Phase III Construction
(Courthouse Renovation)
