This item was not initially approved for purchase in the 1998-1999 budget. The 4-drawer
lockable file cabinet is needed for the Special Operations/Criminal Investigations Clerk, for
the purpose of securing and preserving confidential information.
This item is offered by Office Depot at $204.00; less our discount, the item will cost a
total of $114.24. There will be no shipping or handling charges.
I respectfully request that $114.24 be taken from budget line 10-560-220 and moved to
budget line 10-560-570 for the purpose of purchasing this capital outlay item.
