Said church building is currently temporarily situated on real estate on Lemoa Street in the City of Ker• vine which i.s otivned by James Nugent. The Kerr Count}' Historical Commission ("Commission's desires to move said church building from its presezrt location to a tract of land containing about an acre, mare or less, owned by Schreiner College in Kcrrvilk, Kerr County. Texas, and restore, maintain and oparate same as a historical site for the use of the general public. Commission has coanrnenccd a campaign to raise Funds by way of donations andlor grants for the mrnzng, restoration, maintenance and operation of said church building. Commission and County leave negotiated a 2S-year tease with Schreiner College, but because Commission may not awn property, Schreiner Collage is required to lease the property to County. THEREFORE, PREMISES CONSIDERED, County and Commission do hereby agree as follows, to-wit: 1. Coumy shall execute the Schreiner College tease, a copy of which is attache' hereto and wade a part hereof for all purposes; and 2. County shall retain ownership of said church building at all times; and 3. Commission will provide all fiords, labor and and materials to completely restore said church buildinb; and 4. Commission, at its sole cost, shall operate and maintain said church buildinb and will comply with said tease ag~tement at all times duringthe term of said lease agreement including the furnishing of all janitorial, clean-up, m.~,intenance, scheduling ;iud supervisingthe premises ofsaid church building; and 5. All said funds are hereby assigned to Kerr County, for suoh proposes, exercisable at the election of said Kerr County Judge, but curly in the event of default as aforesaid.
