Our services as we understand them and an estimated cost for these services are listed below. Estimated Cost of Services We estimate the cost of our services to be $11,600.00 as shown on the following cost summary. Please recognize that this is an estimate. We will only invoice for the actual services and required laboratory tests. In the event the construction activities do not require the time we have estimated, the cost should be lower than our estimated cost. If more services are required due to conditions such as scheduling, inclement weather, or retesting, this cost estimate may be exceeded. Client agrees to indemnify and hold DCE harmless from any damage, liability or costs to the extent caused by Client's negligent acts, errors or omissions and anyone for who Client is legally liable and arising from the project that is the subject of this agreement. In recognition of the fee that DCE will receive for this project relative to the overall economic value of the project, the Client agrees to limit DCE's project risk such that DCE's total aggregate liability for any claims, losses, expenses, damages or claim expense from any cause or causes shall not exceed our fee for this project. APPROVAL A duplicate original of this proposal is attached. Please return these duplicates with your signature if you accept the terms and conditions described in this document. Out-of--town subsistence and travel expenses incurred by an employee in connection with the project will be invoiced at cost plus 15 percent or at a Per Diem rate of $70.00 per day per individual. Use of company vehicles will be charged on the basis of $0.40 per mile. General Information Expenses incurred in connection with the project will be invoiced at cost plus 15 percent. These expenses may include the following: Services directly applicable to the work, such as special legal and accounting expenses, special consultants, subcontractor services, and similaz costs that are not applicable to general operating expenses. Identifiable communication expenses, such as long distance telephone, facsimile, telegraphy, cable, express delivery chazges, postage, and similar costs that are not applicable to general correspondence and/or operating expenses. Identifiable processing and reproduction costs applicable to the project, such as developing, blueprinting, photocopying, printing, and similar costs that are not applicable to general operating expenses. Invoices will be submitted monthly for work in progress and aze due and payable 30 days from invoice date. Interest will be charged at the rate of 1.5 percent per month for late payments.
