To provide effective rabies and animal control. ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: 1. Reports to: Commissioners' Court 2. Directs: Oversees all functions of Animal Control & Facility 3. Other: Works with A.C.O.'s, veterinazians and general public GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: This is a responsible position covering all aspects of the operation and function of the Animal Control Facility, which includes but is not limited to work involved in investigating reports of animal bite and stray animals, administering and enforcing rabies and animal control as defined and described in the Kerr County Rabies and Animal Control Order, City of Kemille Ordinance and Texas Health and Safety Code. May serve as Local Health Authority for Rabies and Animal Control.
