Flat Rock Lake Park Kerr County, Texas Concept Plan Introduction: The available funds for this project are $180,000 from a grant from LCRA. Our current budget does not include any additional funds. General Concept: The general concept for the park is to develop the two tracts of land, one on the east side of Third Creek and one on the west side of Third Creek, as a single unit. To accomplish this a bridge linking the two tracts would need to be built across Third Creek. The other components of the park plan include the following Items: Hike and Bike Trail Picnic Areas Sand Volleyball Courts Disc Golf Course Improved Swimming Area Open Space Playing Fields Other items that are needed include the following: Perimeter Fencing Security Along Riverside Drive Restrooms Roads Parking Lighting Recommendation: On the following page is a estimated budget. I recommend that we go out for bid on four items at this time: Perimeter Fencing -Estimated Cost: $13,000 Guardrail Along Riverside Drive: $29,000 Foot Bridge to Cross Third Creek: $20,000 Upgrade to Road for New Property Entrance: Unknown (R&B) Another Item that needs to be discussed is whether or not to relocate the current boat ramp. I recommend we do relocate the boat ramp but am not sure as to where or what the cost would be.
