Kerr County Y2k upgrade proposal
This document serves as our proposal to upgrade Kerr County Sheriffs office to meet Y2k standards for
Software and Hardware. [t includes a complete new hardware and Software package to begin Installation
with in 45 days of acceptance by Kerr County.
Kerr County's current Commission rate is 20.5% and based on conversations with Commissioner Griffm
and Sheriff Kaiser, a leasing option was preferred on such a large upgrade. This proposal address's the
upgrade option with this in mind

Windows version of LEMS (Law enforcement Management System)
- Jail Management system
- Video Imaging
- Records Management System
- All additional and related modules
Hardware:
24 Pentium 350 Mhz workstations
4 Black and white Printers
Evercom Equipment Lease and SLA (Software licence agreements)

ADDENDUM "A"
Inmate Pay Telephone Agreement between
Evercom Systems, Inc. and Kerr County, Texas
This Addendum A is entered into effect as of the of June 1999, by and
between Evercom Systems, Inc. and Kerr County, Texas.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises set forth herein, and other good
and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledges and
confessed, the parties hereto supplement the Agreement as follows:
In accordance with the original agreement, For considersation of said addendum, Evercom and
Kerr County, Texas agree to a four (4) year extension to their existing agreement in exchange for
an upgrade to Kerr County to meet Y2K Standards for their Software and Hardware.
