Staacke Ranch Subdivision was platted in 1984. Beaz Creek Road (Staacke Ranch Road)
begins in Bandera Count enters Kerr County for approximately 2 miles and then enters
Kendall County. The portions in Bandera and Kendall Counties aze county maintained.
Kerr County has never maintained the portion in Kerr County.
Recently we have received numerous request for Kerr County to accept the portion in
Kerr County for maintenance. On July 29, 1999, 1 met with representatives for Bandera
County, Kendall County and the subdivision. I advised those present of the procedure
Ken County has been using to accept roads for county maintenance in similar situations
and advised that I would bring the issue before the Commissioners' Court for discussion.
