It is with mixed emotions that I resign, effective September 30, 1999, from my elected position as Sheriff,
in order to pursue other career opportunities.
For the past 10 years, 9 months I have proudly enjoyed the challenge of serving as Sheriff. We have
achieved many positive successes and have become known as one of the best sheriff s departments in the
State, but it could not have happened without the dedication and professionalism of the men and women
of the Kerr County Sheriff s Department and the support of the citizens, and I thank you all for the
opportunity.
I look forward to continue working with the citizens of Kerr County.
