The concept plan estimated budget for Flat Rock Lake Park, see copy
attached, included the following items:
HikeBike Trail $30,000
Relocate and up-grade boat ramp $ 5,000
Land clearing, Roads, Parking, etc. $30,000
I recommend we authorize the expenditure of $30,000 to begin work on these
items. The work will be performed by a contractor under the direction of our Road and
Bridge Department. The equipment required will be scrapers, dozers and maintainers, etc.
I reviewed the park plan, including the above work, with representatives from
LCRA in September, 1999 and they suggested the plan.

Concept Plan
Irnroduction:
The available funds for this project are $180,000 from a grant from
LCRA. Our current budget does not include any additional funds.
General Concept:
The general concept for the park is to develop the two tracts of land,
one on the east side of Third Creek and one on the west side of Third Creek,
as a single unit. To accomplish this a bridge linking the two tracts would
need to be built across Third Creek. The other components of the pazk plan
include the following Items:
