WL ARE R? QUESTING THAT COlviMISSIONERS COURT ALLOW
SFMA GOLF CONSTRUCTION AND COMANCIIE TRACE RANCH
PERFORM A COti'TROL BURN OF BRUSH AKD TREES.
Please consider the following:
1. Normal golf course construction requu'es some burning of brush and debris.
2. W=have many `oak wilt" disease trees that aye feel should be burned immediately to keep
disease from spreading ro adjputing propenies or other senions of the ranch.
3. Burying trees, stumps and brusb. is not a good option cspeciaIly on a proja~t of this
magnitude :md expense.
4. V4'e have experienced persor_ncl and e.{uiparent to pe:.orur unrt-ul bur:ring ou site.
5. We have solicited the assistance of Voitmteer Fire Depu in the area and we have received
very positive continents from them indicating their willingness to help. The owner; of
Cr}manche Trace will compensate these Depts for their time or make appropriate donations
