County Engineer Kerr County Road and Bridge Department 4010 San Antonio Highway Kerrville, Teresa 78028 Re: Falling Waters Subdivision Kerr and Kendall Courdios, Texas Dear Mr. Johnson: November 1Q 1999 ~'/ The Owner/Developer of the rzfrronced projcc4 Dale Crenwelge, has employed this firm to provide design for improvements ro the water system in coordination with the vacatelreplat of severe! large lots into smaller ones. Using the existing contour reap prepared with tix original plat by Hallenberger Engineeritrg, we have determined that the rep[at of lots 33, 34, 100, lOl, 121, errd 122 will provide 12 additional lets located at an elevation adequately below the present ground storage tank to receive water pressure which meets TNRCC criteria. Lot 119 replat will have ehrea lots which also meet pressuro criteria, and three lots which need increased pressure. Lots 116, 117, and 116 replat will have IS additioml lots, all of which will need additional pressure. We are presently designing an expansion to the existing preserve sysum (non-gravity flow) that will meet or exceed TNRCC criteria for the 181ots needing enhancement. Our design will be submitted through Ibtr. David Laughlin, P.E., at the Plan Review section of TNRCC in Austin for approval. In the meantime, if you need any further information dealing with the water system serving this project please call me. Yours very truly, DRF:jm cc: Mr. Dale Crenwelge Mr. Don Voelkel, R.P.L.S. At the time of the last survey, conducted April 17, 1998, the Falling Water System had surplus total storage capacity to serve an additiona1292 connections and surplus well production to serve an additiona1245 connections. However, only 315 gallons ofptessttre storage and 60 GPM of service pump capacity were provided. The pressure storage and service pump capacity is intended to serve the few connections on top of the hill that are not gravity flow pressure. If the additiotal 40 connections are gravity flow only, the existing facilities are adequate.
