We have chosen the eight winning stories, and would like to continue the tradition ofhaving the Kerr County Commissioners award our certificates of achievement to the winners at their December meeting. Thank you for your consideration of this request. Our community is a strong supporter of this special event for students. Local sponsors have donated $500 for the purchase of gift certificates for books, and the two Kerrville newspapers graciously publish all of the winning stories. The Kerrville Writers Association appreciates the continued support from the County Commissioners, as well. Sincerely, ~~~ ~~~yz~,. Anne C. Schneider President
