Court unanimously approved by a vote of 3-0-0, to approve the
request of the District Clerk to amend her^ Capital Outlay
list to include an H. F'. Laser Jet F'r^inter and delete the
additional reader-printer.

To reallocate $600.00 in tine item 10-450-570 -capital outlay -for the purchase of a HP laserjet
printer.

.t year during budget preparation 1 requested $9000. for an additional reader printer, which was
granted. This year I am requesting scanning stations to allow for imaging (as the county clerk does)
which would reduce (not eliminate) some use of reader printers, and for greater convenience. If that
is approved, I will choose not to purchase the reader printer. I think the 2 I have will be enough if we
have the option of copying from the optical image. Most of the $9000 will be returned to the general
fund, with the exception of this $600 I am requesting for a new printer.
If this is approved It may be removed from my budget request for next year.
