Re: Court Order No. 27081 for
Construction Management Services
At present, my contract for Construction Management Services does not allow me to
make subcontracts with the subcontractors needed to complete the Juvenile Probation
Department offices project. Therefore, I am asking the Court to approve the following
subcontracts:
Guadalupe Electric -for electrical work $4,040.00
State Aire -for HVAC work 2,644.00
The Home Center -for carpet and the work 2,324.43
Total Expenditure for Approval
$9,008.43
These prices are the result of inviting at least three (3) subcontractors for each of the work
components listed above.
Some electrical work has already been done; but payment for any of the above-mentioned
work is being withheld until the Commissioners' Court has approved the prices. The total
of $9,008.43 is well within the budget for the project.
