RE: KCSO Credit Card
Consider and discuss authorizing the Sheriffto apply for a credit card for Kerr County
Sheriff s Department to be used for travel expense while transporting prisoners. Also for
unexpected expense while travelling. Recently an officer broke down on the highway
while transporting and he had only $19.00 of his personal money. Lack of a credit cazd
has created some problems and concerns for this Department.
A credit cazd is also needed when making travel arrangements for otTicers to attend
training seminars. Most hotels will not hold a room without a credit cazd to guarantee.
