RE: Signature Block for Preliminary & Final Plats
I propose we add the wording shown below to the Kerr County Subdivision Rules & Regulations
Appendix B (2)(b), as this will allow the designated representafive's signature block to reflect the
requirements of the new Kerr County OSSF Order.
These tracks >~ be exempt from the on-site sewage facility (OSSF) permitting process. Prior tc
construction the owner or their agent must contact the Authorized Agent to determine if the
proposed improvement(s) will meet the exemption criteria. This subdivision is hereby required to
abide by all current or future on-site sewage facility regulations approved by the Authorized
Agent.

Suggested Revisions to Ken County Subdivision Rules and Regulations:
Section 6.03, Final Plat Approval -Page 23:
6.03.C.3.c -add the following language "This certification is only required to be
prepazed by a registered professional engineer ff a drainage study is required under
section 5.06."
6.03.C.3.e -add the following language "This certification is only required if any
lot size is less than 5 acres or any lot is to be served by a community sewage collection
and treatment facility."
6.03.C.3.f -add the following language "This certification is only required if
I. any lot size is less than 5 acres; or
2. any lot is to be served by a community water system; or
3. the total number of lots does not exceed 5; or
4. the minitnum lot size is I S acres or more."
6.03.C.3.g -add the following language "This certification is only required if
6.03.C.3.b or 6.03.C.3.c certify that any part of the subdivision is within the 100 yeaz
flood plain according to the Flood Insurance Rate Map."

6.035 Alternate Plat Approval Process for Subdivisions With Less than Four Lots.
6.035.A The Commissioner of the precinct in which the proposed
subdivision is located may approve an alternate process for plat approval for any
subdivision with less than four lots as set forth in this section. If the Commissioner does
not approve the alternate plat process, the plat process for the subdivision shall be as set
forth in sections 6.01, 6.02 and 6.03.
6.035.B Alternate Plat Approval Process
6.035.B.1 All items set forth in 6.01 and 6.02 shall not apply.
6.035.B.2 All items set forth in section 6.03 shall apply except as
specifically modified herein.
