Good morning. Thank you for your time this morning.
My name is Jackie Keller, and I am ~ parent of a Center Point High
School student of the Class of 2003. I am here today representing the
students and parents of Center Point High School Class of 2003. The reason
I'm coming before you, is to talk to you about their.project graduation. Even
though their graduation is over a year away, planning this event is very
important to them. As you know, Project Graduation provides a safe place
for the students to be the night they graduate. We would like to plan their
Project Graduation at the Hill Country Youth Exhibition Center on May 30,
2003. We have received prices for renting the hall, $250.00 for the hall,
.- $150.00 set-up fee, $150,00 clean-up fee; which would be refunded provided
that the hall was cleaned-up, and a $25.00 an hour charge for security from
12:00 midnight to 6:00 a.m. the day of the event.
We are a small school, with approximately 40 students for the Class
of 2003. We would greatly appreciate your help with the financial part of
renting the hall for this event. We do have fun and exciting events planned
for the graduates that evening so that they can enjoy themselves.
Again, any financial support you can give us would be greatly
appreciated.
