Right of way acquired c. Horizon's fence relocated d. Preliminazy bid package completed e. Road base stockpiled (6,500 tons) f. Right of way cleazed g. Siltation screens put up along entire construction site h. All drainage pipes bought and stored on construction site 2. We understand from Commissioner Buster Baldwin, Pct. 1 that as of October 1, 2002, this special project of Sheppazd Rees will be funded at $307,000.00. 3.. In the new budget yeaz starting Oct 1, 2002; we will put the bid out in the fall to do the sub-grade (cut & fill of 70,000 CY) of material. This bid will include signage, flagging and keeping the road open to through traffic. 4. An alternate bid as the above will have the contractor place base material (already stored on construction site.) If this alternate bid does not come in as low as we hope, Road & Bridge feels confident that we can place the base with a current contractor (bid- '^ by-the-hour) to accomplish this. 5. The seal coat on Sheppazd Rees will be done by our department. This will be accomplished if the weather permits us to seal; otherwise we will do it in the spring, when we start our annual seal coat program. 6. We will review the bids to see that all funding is available to meet the construction for Sheppard Rees and make a recommendation at the time of awazding the bid. 7. The inspection will be done by the County Engineer and occasionally by the Administrator. Our goal is to accomplish new construction and road repair at the same time. 8. We have six months to accomplish our work with FEMA and Ken County Road & Bridge needs to stay with our flood damage and do the repairs as quickly as we can. Your patience and understanding is requested. In the interim we still have to do complaints, mow and work on the new yeazs seal coat program
