D $ I I P P O R'i' l7 7 V I S f () N January 20, 2003 The Honorable Linda Uecker District Clerk, Kerr County 700 E. Main Street Kerrville, TX 78028-5389 Dear District Clerk: Enclosed are three counterparts of an amendment to the General Requirements section of the cooperative agreement between your county and the Office of the Texas Attorney General for State Case Registry services. It has been determined that the federal subrecipient requirements are not applicable to this cooperative agreement. What this means for you is that you are not required to have the funds that you receive pursuant to this cooperative agreement audited by an independent auditor. The amendment removes this requirement from the cooperative agreement and replaces it with a records retention requirement. The amendment also makes the change in requirements retroactive to the commencement date of the cooperative agreement. Please have the Judge sign all three counterparts where indicated and return to the following address: Attorney General of Texas Attn: Sue Myers Child Support Division, Mail Code 058-3 P.O. Box 12017 Austin, TX 78711-2017 Upon receipt of the three signed counterparts, the documents will be routed to Cynthia Bryant, Deputy Attorney General for Child Support for signature. After the documents have been signed by all parties, one original copy will be returned to you. If you have any questions regarding the execution of this amendment, please contact me at (512) 460-6379.
