SECURITY FENCE AROUND EXHIBIT CENTER
On this the 28th day of July, 2003, upon motion made by Commissioner Letz,
seconded by Commissioner Baldwin, the Court unanimously approved by a
vote of 4-0-0, for the Maintenance Department to install a security fence around
the Hill Country Youth Exhibit Center at a cost not to exceed $5,000.00.

Subject: Securing Exhibit Center
The Exhibit Center has had several incidents of vandalism and theft in
the past few years. This may be slowed some what if a fence, could be
completed on the northwest corner of the Exhibit Center. This fence would
be locked at night and when no events are being held.
My proposal would not block access to the Extension Office. Only
the exhibit grounds, buildings, and equipment would be secured.
If the court has any other ideas or solutions to these problems, please
give me a call.
