POST 208 TO USE THE
COURTHOUSE GROUNDS
On this the 27th day of October, 2003 upon motion made by
Commissioner Letz, seconded by Commissioner Williams the
Court unanimously approved by a vote of 4-0-0, authorizing the
American Legion Post 209 to utilize the Courthouse grounds and
facilities for annual Veterans Day ceremony and prior to and
subsequent to the ceremony for setup and takedown of appropriate
equipment.

The American Legion Post 208, along with many other Veteran Groups in
the Kerrville area, is currently- planning a Veteran's nay Ceremony. This has been
an annual project for the fast t4 years, and the ser-t~ice «~ill be about the same topic
as we had in the past.
t~'e respectfully request permission to have the ceremony on the Kerr
Count~° Courthouse Square around the Kerr Counri~ ~~ar ~1'Temorial area, on
Monday, November 10, 201)3 at 11:00 ANL
If possible, we would be honored to have Jadge, and American legion
:Member, Pat Tinley, present a welcome address.
Since this is a national holiday weekend, «-e assume the courthouse xvill be
closed, however we would appreciate the restrooms on the Sidney Baker side of the
courthouse be opened and available foa• the two-hour period.
